VENDORS PLEASE NOTE:

There are to be NO fireworks of any kind.  This will include sparklers, poppers, snappers, etc.  Any items of this kind will be confiscated by police.

All vendors are to be set up by 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2008.  Police will close off streets at 8:30 and will not open them until after the event.

Any vendor who pushes a cart along the streets selling balloons and other wares are required to have a permit from the Town of Georgetown.  They WILL NOT be allowed to move along the street during the parade procession.

Sussex County Return Day is a 501C(3) not for profit organization operated solely by volunteers.  Besides hosting Return Day, the organization exhibits election related memorabilia at the Nutter D. Marvel Museum. All proceeds from Return Day are used to pay costs associated with the event, normal operating expenses, and for the acquisition, preservation, and display of items of historical significance.  In addition, the group lends its support for the care and maintenance of the historic horse-drawn carriages housed at the Marvel Museum. Donations are tax deductible and always appreciated!
